As requested, I am leaving a comment :) My comment is, tell us something about your band. I saw you were playing at Feather Falls and I wanted to know more about what type of music you play so... i looked you up. Google kindly gave me your blog BUT, still I have no idea what type of music you play :)
Hi, Sorry it's taken so long to answer your post. This blog thing is new to me and it took a while to realize someone had actually left a comment. So, that said, I'm not sure what to tell you. We play to the crowd. We do enough country music to fill a night. So some people think we're a country band. We play enough oldies to be an oldies band. On any given night we play a Norah Jones song followed by a Fats Domino tune. Brooks & Dunn followed by a Steve Miller medley. Pretty much, each night is governed by requests and crowd reaction.
I've been playing since I was a teenager. I now have grandchildren who are teenagers. I'm the new guy in the band. I've been playing in Cottonwood for about 7 years. In all the years I've played, most bands I've played in have a song list of 50 to 75 songs. When I joined the band, I realized Craig (the leader) didn't have a song list. He just played whatever came to his mind. So I started to compose a list. I stopped after I had 300 songs on the list.
I guess this is a very long-winded way of telling you that I'm not sure what to tell you. If you come to see us, come on up and request something and we'll hopefully be able to play it for you.
We're playing Gold Country Casino May 29, 30 and 31if that works for you. I'm pretty sure the songs will vary each night. If you want to email me directly (jazzcrash@gmail.com) with some songs you'd like to hear and what date you will be there, I'll make sure we play as many as we know.

Thanks again for writing. Hope this helps.
